From our show at the Kukuun we got our first little nugget online. It’s one track we are celebratin on with RawBird, our good friend from I-Fire. As we always enjoy to play with him live we had to kick a little somethin with him at the Kukuun, so we be singin Dabadubade again..

In the summer break i had the chance to take a flight to the city with no king and witness Blu and some other artists at Tate Modern. From 23rd of may til 25th of august there is a big street art exhibition at Tate Modern. Although i can’t see how art can be street anymore being in this impressive gallery the big pieces by Os Gêmeos, JR and Blu we´re quite impressive. The other day I got this link from a friend. I just came back from buying my new mpd32 and he said, as I´m into beats i should check out this link, cause you can play around online - building beats. In fact the thing is very nice to play around a little on some related machines such as the TR-808, TR-909, adding a bassline from a TR-303 related machine and routing all that thru some pedals. It’s really what you make of it. After looking thru the main site I found out it’s part of a “online entertainment and rich media-publishing platform”. It´s called hobnox. As time passes by, Pilotfilm is back on the block with a brand new blog. For all ya, who never heard of us let me introduce…

Starting in 2002, Pilotfilm followed the idea of combining live music sessions with DJing. The DJs were supported by several musicians with strong roots in the Hamburg jazz scene, and live sessions opened up opportunities to feature MCs and create live beats on the spot. As the band went on jamming and freestyling, having lots of spontaneous guests, its sound was appreciated by the audience. Over time, a network of musicians, friends and artists from around the city emerged, which generated new musical approaches. Read more
